Orthopaedic Medicolegal Specialist

Personal injury cases often require input from an orthopaedic medicolegal specialist. Having worked in one of the UK’s leading major trauma centres (Addenbrooke’s Hospital) as Departmental Head of Trauma – serving a population of around six million people -Prof Queally is ideally placed to offer orthopaedic medicolegal reporting for all kinds of cases.

He has direct experience of dealing with all types of trauma, from workplace injuries through to major incidents and life-changing accidents, and treats patients with major injuries on a daily basis. He has published widely in leading health journals, with more than 800 citations of his research. He has won awards for his research into joint replacement.

It takes approximately two weeks from the receipt of instructions and medical records to perform an in-depth examination of the client. Findings are summarised in a detailed report, which is submitted within four weeks of the examination. In those cases where no examination of the client is needed, Mr Queally can provide a detailed report within four weeks of being instructed and receiving relevant documentation.
